Mazars incorporates Luis Porras, former Director of Legal Counsel of Banco Santander

With a trajectory of more than 30 years in the banking sector, Luis Porras joins Mazars as of Counsel to promote the activity of the Firm in the financial sector

February 12, 2024. Mazars, an integrated international firm, has just welcomed Luis Porras, the former Director of Legal Counsel for commercial banking at Banco Santander. Luis Porras joins our firm as Of Counsel to promote the positioning and development of new services in the financial sector.

Luis Porras has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector with broad knowledge of the legal and commercial banking fields. He has primarily developed his career at Banco Santander as the Director of Legal Advice for commercial banking. He joined the entity in 2016 from Openbank, where he served as the entity's Legal Counsel Director since its creation in 1996. He has also worked at AB Asesores and Banco Herrero. Luis holds a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
