Self-assessment of internal control as a trigger for good corporate governance.

Two new sessions of the Mazars’ Breakfasts took place in Madrid and Barcelona on the 19th and 20th of June respectively. The subject of the sessions was “self-assessment of internal control as a trigger for good corporate governance”.

Corporate Governance, Internal Control, Integral Risk Management, Risk Appetite, CSA (Control Self-assessments) or Risk Self-assessment were some of the subjects covered along the Breakfasts.

The Breakfasts were approached interactively. They offered the participants the possibility to use in their own devices (tablets and mobiles) the GRIControl ( ) -the tool developed by Mazars for Corporate Risk Management. This situation allowed them to have first-hand knowledge on the impressions of a heterogeneous group of users on the application in a completely open environment.

With GRICONTROL it is intended to replace the redundancy of information that until now was broken up into different Excel sheets in a single Corporate Risk Management System.
