Mazars’ results have increased a 6.4€

Mazars, an international, integrated and independent organization, specialized in audit, accountancy, tax, legal, and consulting services, has increased a 6.4% during the last tax exercise closed the 31st of August of 2009. Also, the increase of Mazars’ offices in Spain has increased a 10%.

Antonio Bover, partner and president of Mazars in Spain, has been elected member of the Group Executive Board at the partners’ annual conference, which took place in London lasts 4th and 5th of December.

The other members of the directive team are Patrick de Cambourg, Philippe Castagnac, and Hilton Saven. Partners have also approved the incorporation of four new countries to the organization: Algeria, South Korea, Mauritius Islands, and Uruguay. With the new office in Angola, Mazars is from now on present in 61 countries and can rely on the skills of 13,000 professionals. Global results of the firm, a turnover of 774 millions of Euros, are published on the fifth edition of Mazars annual report, which presents the group’s consolidated accounts, coaudited according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Patrick de Cambourg and Antonio Bover say, “Mazars is the only organization of audit and tax and legal advise that is submitted to this transparency exercise, publishing its accounts in the same conditions that its listed clients”. Bover adds: “In this complicated economic situation that we haven’t encountered before, Mazars has kept on growing thanks to its integrated model. Our increase has been a 60% organic, which proves the solidity and the proper strategy followed.” He concludes by stating that its aim is “to increase again two digits on the three following years”.
