Mazars’ results have increased a 6.4€

Mazars, an international, integrated and independent organization, specialized in audit, accountancy, tax, legal, and consulting services, has increased a 6.4% during the last tax exercise closed the 31st of August of 2009. Also, the increase of Mazars’ offices in Spain has increased a 10%.

Partners of Mazars in Spain have elected again Antonio Bover as president, for a second three-years-term of office. José Luis Bueno, Santiago Casadejús and Josep Pou have been elected members of the Group Executive Board.

Mazars has carried out a virtualisation project of its storage servers

Mazars has carried out a virtualisation project of its storage servers. The new project wants to keep a homogeneous system, to centralize the implemented systems’ management, to assign additional storage to virtual servers, and to decrease the electric consume. Mazars in Barcelona was the first to put it in practice, and Madrid was the following Spanish office of the group.

Mazars publishes its Annual Report 2009

According to the Annual Report 2009, Mazars has increased by 6.4%. Besides, Antonio Bover, partner and president of Mazars in Spain, has been appointed member of the Group Executive Board at the annual conference of partners, which took place in London from the 4th to the 5th of December.

Widespread use of the amendment to IAS 39 on reclassification of financial assets

According to a research carried out by Mazars, eleven out of twelve European banks made use of the possibility offered by IAS 39 to reclassify financial assets to the banking book. In doing so, they have avoided losses of €13.5 billion.
